Shot in 2016 in Malaysia, and released in 2018, Borneo Death Blow documents the survival and culture of the only tribe left in Borneo with the skills and knowledge to live as nomads in one of the oldest and most diverse rainforests on Earth.
With around 90% of the forest cut down, only a few families have kept their traditional way of life, using a deadly poison on their blowpipe dartsfor hunting, and building rainproof shelters in under an hour.
Borneo Death Blow is also a dive into the reality of displaced Penan communities and the impact of deforestation on a beautiful and irreplaceable culture.
